Edit years later: nothing before this is good or worth seeing, I'll delete it at some point. what about an AU where chara's plan ends differently so the asgore and tori get killed instead of chara asgore steps up to take chara's soul and is somehow able to return chara to their body before he dies (toriel dies... somehow) I've always sort of head cannoned asriel as a evil child who never loved the dremmurs (but I also interpreted chara as good) so asriel would be a curler king the asgore and he probably wouldn't be undyne's friend and undyne would be trying to over through him (asriel also would be in the forum that you fight him in) asgore
